Lolo & Sosaku are two artists based in Barcelona who construct peculiar machines essential to the creation of their artworks. Sergio Caballero transforms these two artists into atypical heroes of a surreal Western – a curious reinterpretation of the Western genre, blending it with slow cinema and artistic documentary. Occasionally, the action is interrupted, the landscape changes, and fragments of an art installation in their usual exhibition spaces are presented. This transition between fiction and the artistic object invites us to view the film as a portrait of the artists' mental landscape or even as an allegory of their creative process.
