The Devil's Garden

Lucas (28) bumps into Tiago (31), an old flame, in a Barcelona nightclub. Even though Tiago has a flight to catch, Lucas invites him to his home and introduces him to his flatmate's cat. In the kitchen, they find their complicity. They have fun until Tiago cuts his hand by accident, revealing his fears. Lucas gently tends the wound, and they address the relationship between HIV and emotional ties and also, loneliness. Lucas wishes for more time together. Tiago, apprehensive about commitment, understands that change is an illusion. They embrace until they fall sleep, but at dawn, Lucas discovers Tiago is gone.
