Pilar is an ordinary woman who has never questioned her routine: work, family and home. Hence, her unexpected dismissal triggers a major identity crisis in her. Fighting to hold on, Pilar clings to the little she has left: her role as the mother of two teens who sadly no longer need her. In her personal drift, she feels a generation gap with the young women in her family who awaken in her the desire for the life she never lived. A common place is the coming of age of a 50-year-old woman who, after a lifetime caring for others, asks herself: "After all, who takes care of me?”.
