Dream of Another Summer tells the story of the encounter between a woman and a city, Beirut, in order to explore how the spaces we inhabit relate to us, and reflect on the mortality and survival of a city. This film is more than just a portrait of Beirut; it is a vital, sensory and existential journey through a city that has transformed itself and survived cycles of destruction, perhaps like each of us, who rebuild and transform ourselves based on what happens to us.
