The film presents a wealth of unique photographs from the last 50 years, fusing artistic quality with the historical value of the images. From the times of the Unidad Popular and exile in Barcelona and Paris to the present day, Luis Poirot's eye has been an unwavering witness to the most exciting moments in contemporary Chilean history. Past and present dialogue with each other throughout the film. Poirot's reunion with the writer Isabel Allende immerses us in an essay in two voices, which reviews dramatic situations, immortalised in his pictures.
