Bruno Hortelano was an elite athlete, the fastest man in Spain. He held records in 100, 200 and 400 metres. A car accident in 2016, after competing in the Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games, almost ended his life. After multiple surgeries to save his hand, he decided to return to racing with the goal of winning a medal at Tokyo 2020. He did not succeed. For Bruno, The Odyssey is his bedside book, and, like Ulysses, he wants to return to Ithaca after triumphing on Mount Olympus. We have been following him since 2019, creating an intimate portrait of how an athlete faces his challenges, his doubts and social pressure. The Paris 2024 Games will be his final challenge.
