Year 1992, Barcelona Olympic Games. A mythical image with the city in the background: Russian diver Yelena Miróshina wins the silver medal in the 10-metre platform competition. Three years later, she dies after falling from the window of her apartment on the ninth floor of a Moscow building. This flat had been a gift given to her by the government after winning the Olympic medal. What happened to Yelena? Why did she fall out of the window? Along the way, we will meet several divers with whom she shared those Games and who have also had serious post-Olympic sequels.
